Most sites need less than they think

A trailer, tools and a pump rarely pull more than 20 to 36 kW. A diesel run at a light load for weeks "wet-stacks", and the yard bills the clean-out. Send us the list of what runs and we size it so the unit works at half to three-quarters load.

Four-week rates are where the savings are

A 4-week rental costs about three weeks of rent. If the service date is uncertain, start on the 4-week rate; ending early is cheaper than renewing week by week.

Fuel on site

A 56 kW unit on a full shift burns about 30 gallons a day. For runs longer than its tank, we add a fuel service or an external tank so nobody on the crew is hauling cans.

Questions

Do I need a permit for a generator on a job site?

Usually not a separate one: the site's electrical permit and the contractor's temporary power plan cover it. Some cities limit noise near homes, so tell us the address and we bring a sound-attenuated unit.

Who connects it?

Your electrician. We deliver the generator and the cable set you ordered; the electrician lands the cables in your temporary panel. If you have no electrician, ask and we find one with the unit.

Can I keep it for months?

Yes. Long rentals bill on the 4-week rate, and the yard services the unit on site every 250 to 500 hours.
