Questions
How long does a 56 kW generator run on a tank?
About 28 hours at three-quarters load on its roughly 100-gallon tank (3.6 gallons an hour). At a lighter load it runs longer. For around-the-clock use we add refills or an external tank.
What does it take to tow a 56 kW generator?
It weighs about 6,500 lb with fuel and trailer — a 3/4-ton or 1-ton pickup with a pintle or 2-5/16-inch ball. Most customers have it delivered; billing includes delivery and pickup.
Single-phase or three-phase?
Both. The unit switches between 120/240 V single-phase (about 233 A) and 208 V or 480 V three-phase. Your electrician sets it to match your service.
How much is a 56 kW generator rental?
From $475 a day, $1,200 a week or $3,000 for 4 weeks on one shift, plus delivery and fuel. You get one all-in price before you commit.
